Winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Kenneth has a routine—working at a bookstore and sipping mai tais at the local tiki bar with his only friend. But, when he’s suddenly laid off, he finally begins to face a world he's long avoided, with transformative and even comical results. PRIMARY TRUST is a touching and inventive play about new beginnings, old friends, and seeing the world for the first time.
