Community

OKC Rep is a theater for Oklahoma City.

We strive to always make our events warm, welcoming, and accessible.

Here are a few more ways you can be involved with OKC Rep beyond the stage:

Talkbacks, Panels, and Such!

OKC Rep shows tend to ask big questions, and we're here to digest them with you. Check out the performance schedule for each show to find out when you can catch a Q&A with the cast, a facilitated community conversation, or an on-theme panel with a group of subject matter experts. To the right is a recording of our expert panel discussion from WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME!

Come for the Pre-Show!

What’s a Rep Rally?

A Rep Rally is OKC Rep’s pre-show ritual. Before every show, a handpicked OKC artist presents a pop-up performance to get us revved up before the main event. This is another way OKC Rep showcases the local artist community. We've had musicians, tap dancers, comedians, clowns, poets, drag artists, lion dancers, hip hop dance battles, swashbuckling battles, and even a bassoon battle!

Pre-show Pastimes:

What else can you expect before an OKC Rep show?

All OKC Rep events are welcoming environments. They also tend to be a lot of fun. A Rep Rally will cap off the pre-show, but we welcome our audiences to come 30-minutes before the show to grab a drink and take in one of our pre-show pastimes.

We transform Oklahoma Contemporary's Founder's Hall into our pre-show pastime space, complete with several ways to amuse yourself--whether you're by yourself, on a date, or with a crew! Grab a drink from our lobby bar featuring handmade cocktails by Cafe Contemporary, then shoulder up to one of the many low-key activity tables we have around the room.

Volunteer

We love our volunteers! As a not-for-profit organization, our small artistic and administrative staff needs your help so that we may continue to share these stories of human experience with our community. If you love the arts and want to add to the vibrancy of our community, we want to hear from you!
